With attention to youth culture, religious disengagement, media, and adolescent development, the course will explore the challenges and possibilities of religious education and youth ministry. Course lectures, discussions, and projects will critically engage the scholarly literature and draw on students' experience in seeking deeper understanding and practical action in areas of liturgy, catechesis, social justice, gender and sexuality, Christian identity and community building. Evaluation based on: participation, seminar presentations, group assignments and final reflective paper.
