Epistle to the Hebrews

This course will consider the Epistle to the Hebrews, which is seldom discussed in Introduction to the New Testament courses or in the New Testament curriculum. Attention will be given to its theological content and relationship to earlier Christian writing. Lectures. Preparation and participation in class: 10%, Book review: 20%, Essay assignments: 50%, Final Colloquium: 20%.
