Practicum for the Sacrament of Reconciliation

This course is designed to help the student acquire a level of competency in the celebration of the sacrament of reconciliation. The course is conducted on a seminar basis. Students will review basic tenets of moral theology and canon law, and then practice hearing confessions by inviting different people to play the role of penitent. Grading will be based on the student's attitude and approach to the penitent, as well as the correctness of his/her responses and advice.
