Richard Kearney, a prominent philosopher of the arts at Boston College, spoke in the Isabel Bader Theatre at Victoria University on October 13, 2012 as part of the event "Imagination's Truths: Re-Envisioning Imagination in Philosophy, Religion, and the Arts." His talk "Narrative Imagination and Catharsis" is now available as an audio podcast at the TV Ontario website, at bigideas.tvo.org [2], and also at the Big Ideas iTunes feed [3] (released 1/18/13). The panel discussion features Professor Kearney, Rebekah Smick and Ronald Kuipers of the Institute for Christian Studies, Mark Knight of the department of English, University of Toronto, and Anne Michaels, a noted Canadian writer.
