CPE and PCE Units taken through the CAPPE Supervisors of Ontario Central Region (CSOCR)
Students wishing to take Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or Pastoral Counselling Education (PCE) units through the CAPPE Supervisors of Ontario Central Region (CSOCR) must apply to the CAPPE supervisor directly. Information about the application process and application forms can be found on the CSOCR website (http://cpe-toronto.ca/). For further information on PCE units at The Toronto Centre for Pastoral Counselling Education (TCPCE) please visit their website (www.pastoral-counselling.com).
Once you have been admitted by the CSOCR teaching supervisor, you must contact a TST member school in order to register. For CPE units, your tuition will be payable to the TST college through which you register. The PCE fee is payable directly to the PCE teaching supervisor.
To register: If you are already a student of TST, please contact your home college registrar. If you are not a TST student, please choose a college through which to enrol, and contact the registrar’s office. Contact information for the registrar's office at each college can be found here: http://www.tst.edu/directory/registrars . Please note that you must register for the unit as soon as possible and abide by the application, registration and payment deadlines of the college. Please present the admissions letter from your CPE or PCE supervisor to the registrar's office. The letter must state the level at which you are taking the unit as well as the dates the unit is offered.
Tuition: The tuition for a CPE unit is two times the TST course fee. TST's tuition schedule can be found here: http://www.tst.edu/content/tuition-fees . For example, if you are an incoming basic degree, domestic student, the academic fee for the CPE unit will be $1080 plus incidental fees. In order to determine the exact tuition you will be expected to pay, please consult with the registrar of the college through which you will enrol.
