Each of TST's seven member colleges is an independent, degree-granting institution with its own distinct history, denominational connection, community spirit, and theological approach.
Emmanuel College
United Church of Canada
Emmanuel is a college at Victoria University in the University of Toronto and the largest theological school associated with the United Church of Canada. Emmanuel’s roots are connected to the earliest endeavours of theological education in Ontario. Today Emmanuel is the only multi-religious theological school in Canada, where students become more deeply rooted in their own religious or spiritual traditions while engaging the beliefs and practices of people of other traditions.
Knox College
The Presbyterian Church in Canada
Knox College educates people to think deeply about God, live authentically in Christian faith, and lead courageously in shifting spiritual and social landscapes. We are a seminary of The Presbyterian Church in Canada conveniently situated at the heart of the St. George campus of the University of Toronto. Since 1844, Knox has been providing a place for students to learn, to grow and to live.
Regis College
Roman Catholic, Jesuit
Regis College is the theological school of the Society of Jesus in Canada, affiliated with the University of Toronto and federated with the University of St. Michael's College. Collaborating with USMC in the operation of the Regis St. Michael's Faculty of Theology, Regis offers post-baccalaureate and graduate programs leading to civil and ecclesial degrees within the Roman Catholic tradition.
St. Augustine's Seminary

St. Augustine’s Seminary is the Major Seminary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto. It also welcomes seminarians and students from other parts of Canada and abroad. St. Augustine’s primary mission is preparing candidates for ordained priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church. St. Augustine’s also offers a program of formation for the Permanent Diaconate. Candidates prepare to serve in parish ministry.
University of St. Michael's College, Faculty of Theology

The Faculty of Theology, University of St . Michael’s College, is a founding Member of the Toronto School of Theology, and an accredited member of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. The Faculty of Theology is a Graduate Division of the University of St. Michael’s College, the Roman Catholic University federated with the University of Toronto. The Faculty shares the University’s purpose and its rootedness in the heritage of its founders, the Congregation of St. Basil.
University of Trinity College, Faculty of Divinity
Anglican Church of Canada
Established in 1842, the Faculty of Divinity at Trinity College is one of the oldest centres for Anglican theological education in Canada. The Faculty has a long history of excellence in interdisciplinary theological scholarship and provides education for Christian ministry, general theological education and theological research at the basic degree level (MDiv, MTS) and graduate degree level (MA, ThM, PhD, DMin).
Wycliffe College

Wycliffe College is an evangelical graduate school of theology which provides high quality education shaped by the Bible and mission. Rooted in the Anglican tradition, the College has a long history of fostering spiritual formation and academic excellence since its founding in 1877. Understanding the Bible as the Word of God written, Wycliffe posits the theological interpretation of Scripture as central to the identity and work of the College.
