COVID-19 Updates
Update as of April 2023
The Toronto School of Theology building is open to the public with regular business hours, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
In-person classes, meetings and campus life have resumed, and most COVID-19 requirements have been lifted. We will continue to monitor public health conditions and to adjust our response as needed, and will provide updates on any changes.
Vaccination and Screening
- The requirement for the University of Toronto's UCheck health screening and proof of vaccination is on pause.
- TST continues to encourage all faculty, staff and students to remain up-to-date on vaccinations.
Masking
- TST's mask requirement has been lifted. This is consistent with the University of Toronto and Ontario Public Health regulations and is reflective of the current pandemic environment.
- The use of a medical mask in high-density indoor spaces when physical distancing is not possible is strongly encouraged.
- We recognize that individuals will make independent choices about whether to wear a mask indoors, and we ask everyone to be respectful of other people’s decisions.
Isolation Protocols
If you are feeling unwell or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, you should stay home and self-isolate.
TST follows the University of Toronto's protocols for individuals who:
- have COVID-19 symptoms;
- test positive but are asymptomatic;
- are close contacts of the symptomatic or positive case.
