About
Knox College educates people to think deeply about God, live authentically in Christian faith, and lead courageously in shifting spiritual and social landscapes. We are a seminary of The Presbyterian Church in Canada conveniently situated at the heart of the St. George campus of the University of Toronto. Since 1844, Knox has been providing a place for students to learn, to grow and to live. As an intercultural community of faith and learning in the Reformed Protestant theological tradition, Knox is committed to forming dynamic Christian leaders who will make a difference in congregations and communities across Canada and around the world.
Our curriculum builds on the Presbyterian and Reformed tradition of academic excellence combined with rigorous practical training and deep spiritual formation. Knox offers programs at both the basic degree level (MDiv, MTS, MPS) and at the graduate degree level (MA, ThM, PhD, DMin). Through the Ewart College legacy, we also offer lifelong learning opportunities. At Knox students are taught and mentored by knowledgeable and passionate faculty who are actively engaged in theological research that seeks to serve the life and mission of the church in Canada today. Knox College has a Centre of Excellence, the Centre for Asian-Canadian Theology and Ministry, and also houses The Ecumenical Chaplaincy at the University of Toronto.
