Bio

Carol Penner received her BA in Religious Studies from the University of Manitoba, and completed her MA and PhD at the University of St. Michael’s College. Her research focuses on feminist theology and violence against women. She teaches in the area of practical theology. She served as a pastor for many years before joining the faculty at Conrad Grebel University College, where she is now the Director of Theological Studies.
